hi. i'm julia & that cutie, yeah that's my husband jeff. together you can call us the holderness', if you please. I suppose this is where we are supposed to share how our romantic relationship started.
Hi, I'm Jeff. That's my lovely wife Julia. She's pretty much a sweetheart. Our relationship started at the end of 2012. haha like the very last day of the year, otherwise known as new years eve. our dear friend christopher decided to invite us both to the movies, a movie that i much would have rather not seen to be honest.
It was going to be a typical day at the theatre. "The Hobbit" had gotten mixed reviews and I wasn't too excited to see it but I really enjoy movies so I was in when Christopher invited me. I was surprised to see Julia there and frankly I was excited because she dressed REALLY well. how could you even tell? i was wearing a huge black wool coat that covered everything haha. anyways we "re-met" you could say at this shindig. i didn't think much of him, and i didn't think he did of me. i mean hello he just got off his 2 year mission, so of course i thought he was going to be a little bit....odd. somehow we got to talking about the new years dance that happening that night. i mentioned that me and my friend we're planning on going. so was jeff.
I hadn't really planned on going to the dance but when I found out that Julia was going to be there and some other friends. I found a couple friends of my own to bring to the dance. I didn't know it until later but the "Friend" that I picked had dated Julia a little bit before. Bad move on my part. Whoops. i am very naive and didn't think anything of it when he mentioned he was going to be there. i just wanted to hang with my girl that i hadn't seen much. so we get there and of course we see jeff. me being the type of person that i am{not really, i am actually very shy!} went to go say hi to the guy. long story short. he asked for my number. i gave it. and that's that.
That started the relationship. From that night on we continued to "Hang out" or date for the next month. We did lots of stuff, went bowling, saw a couple of movies, stayed the night at our cabin. We were basically inseparable. One thing led to another and before I knew it I was shopping for a wedding ring with her at some fancy jewelry shop. its crazy still to think of all the stuff that has happen since then. we started dating january 1, 2013, engaged february 5, 2013 & married may 4, 2013. i have loved every single moment with him & now i can't even imagine life without him. which leads us to the reason of this blog. we're not bloggers, we're not do-it-yourselfers, nothing like that. just a couple that has dreams, hopes, big imaginations, and endless possibilities. and we intend on creating and finishing them. so we might as well document this great life that he have together now! we're dorky {more so me then him}, passionate, & love a good laugh.
